...honestly, i thought that B changed her style somewhat for B'Day. It was more energetic than Dangerously in Love, and the music was something different. The album also is like triple platinum...so i thought i did pretty well considering the fact that records sales continue to slump.

It went triple platinum because of European sales, and re-releasing her album and to that she released a spanish version of the same album let not forget that.as far as the R&B sound nahh i thought she was more popish than any thing.Her man thing is global dominance she did say she wanted to be DIANA ROSS! And she well on her way

B'Day's sales were really unimpressive considering the HUUUGE promotion and expenses it had. They went as far as making a video for almost every song and releasing single after single recluting even Shakira for the promotion. Nope, coming for her steellar selling debut B'day was a huge FLOP. Too much money and promotion involver for 2.7 mill albums. Justin Timberlake, being wayyy worst seller than her is near the 4 mill mark. They will always sell the successful satr image but inside they know it was a FLOP and all the strategies of dadd Knowles didn't work. Anyways B is a well known star and a product well promoted so she is taking the JLO route wich is less and less music and more and more branding

EUROPE is international HAHAHAH the 3 mil is DOMESTIC (U.S.) international its OVER 7 mil..so IT WAS NOT A FLOP...PLUS the concerts SOLD OUT at many places ....not bad at ALL...and how was it ALOT of PROMO when her record company didnt even know she made a album lol remember she did it without their consent...PROMO came MORE for the rerelease and concert....but bday was already doub plat DOMESTIC and close to 4 mil INTERNATIONAL..

WOW. Her B'Day Album was hot to me. Most of her songs were hit. She damn near turn the album into a DVD, well she DID turn it into a DVD. All her hot songs were videos.

She changing it to dance is a very good idea because if you notice, Rihanna is becoming more popular with her recent album because she had mostly dance tracks. If you can have a song you can play on the radio and then play in the club,she can make a lot more money, Which i'm sure she's aiming for.

First of all BDay was a success not only in the US but internationally. bDay was over promoted because she was also staarring in the most anticipated movies of the year, "Dreamgirls" So the promotions of the movie and cd were combined together to make it seem like she was all over the place. Now secondly, her new album will focus more on a R&B side with a international tracks.
