Although Amerie's third album 'Because I Love It' has seen it's release here in Europe several months ago and spawned 2 top 10 singles, fans in the US have yet to get their hands on the album (legally, that is).

Things, however, seem to be on the up for the 'Take Control' singer. Word has it that her label in the US, Sony BMG, are working overtime -behind the scenes - to make sure the album is a success. Yet the fact that much of it is available online has meant that instead of releasing the European version in the US, select tracks from it will be kept and newer recorded tracks will be added. It has been said that Amerie will be heading into the studio with Pharrell of the Neptunes shortly.

Meanwhile, 'Crush' is still on-course for release here in the UK early next year. The video has been shot already and was directed by Scott Franklin.

Amerie fans: Which tracks would you keep on the US version?

I am a US fan who was lucky enough to buy the album on a trip to the UK. The entire thing is really, really phenomenal! Maybe Amerie should keep the album as some kind of US fans bonus. That's What U R, Paint Me Over, and Crush need to stay!

i really love the whole album too. it should definitely be a bonus. my faves are crush, all roads, that's what u r, and crazy wonderful.

Because I Love It is a hot album. I am addicted to the Forecast Intro! I wish that was a full song. I'm glad to see her label continue to rework some things for the U.S. release because I think this CD is a solid effort from her.

They should keep "Somebody Up There," "Hate 2 Love U," "Paint Me Over," and "Take Control" & "Gotta Work" on there. Hopefully they can add "Streets Alone" on there too because that's the cut.

In terms of marketing, that album is very different. I love it but some of my simple minded friends are like no way but I would keep "Hate 2 love u" "make me believe" "take control" "gotta work" "thats what you are"

I love the whole album. I got the UK edition, the album is really good. I think she should come out with All Roads as a single, its very inspirational or crazy wonderful. This album is so underrated but so many people are not open to all music. Hopefully this album does real good in the states when it comes out.

I'm pretty sure the remix of That's What U R with Fabolous & Slim Thug will stay, & possibly the remix of Gotta Work with Collie Buddz will as well, but personally When Loving You Was Easy, Paint Me Over, Some Like It, Crush, Crazy Wonderful should all stay

Also I like All Roads & Make Me Believe but Hate2LoveU & Somebody Up There are also pretty good, actually the whole cd is good, but I know she can do something better
