Confirmed: Mary's 2nd Single Is 'Hurt Again'

Mary J. Blige - 'Hurt Again'It has been confirmed - as per Mary J. Blige's PR team, that the singer will be releasing the Dre & Vidal produced 'Hurt Again' as the next single from her already-Platinum 'Growing Pains' CD. The song replaces 'Work That' (the previously announced follow-up to 'Just Fine') as the LP's 2nd single. Though I really like the song, I'm not so sure about it how it'll do. To be honest, I'm kinda baffled as to Mary's single choices this go round.

the song ok , i dont like the tone she sings in on the album for it.. But when she does it live in a lower tones its crazy, maybe she will do a special edit so thats it suits everyone...
personally she should have released "stay down" or "fade away" as her next single.
she aint popin steroids her teams just said that she has never done any type of illegal performance enhancement drugs.

Hurt again? As the follow-up to Just Fine... (IMO) not the best choice. The song is good, but not good enough to be a single.

I haven't picked up her Mary's lastest album yet, and as a non-hardcore Mary J. Blige fan this single wouldn't push me to do so. I do like the song though.

I don't know. I think this song should have been released as a 3rd single. It's a eautiful and its my favorite song off the album, but you need an intermediate to bridge "Just Fine" and "Hurt Again."

I personally like the song and I think it's great that it's her 2nd single. When the time comes for her third single I hope it stay down or roses two more hot joints from my girl MJB growing pains album.
