Grammy front-runner's Kanye West and Amy Winehouse have been added to the list of performers at the big show on Sunday. The Recording Academy, today, issued a press release confirming West, who is up for eight awards, will hit the stage (rumored to be tribute to his mother who passed in November).
As reported yesterday, Winehouse was denied a US visa; however organisers revealed the 'Rehab' singer, who is up for six awards, will perform live via satellite in a London studio. {Source}
I'm happy Amy will be able to represent herself and the UK in some capacity at the show. With both her and Kanye now on the bill, the Grammy's are getting better and better. US visitors can catch the Grammy's live this Sunday on CBS at 8pm / UK visitors can catch the show on ITV1 at 9pm on Monday 11th February (the next day).
