Award winning actress Angela Bassett finally received a star on Hollywood's iconic Walk Of Fame yesterday, in what is reported to have been an emotional ceremony. Though I'm kinda baffled as to why she's only just receiving such an honor now, I am ecstatic for her. I've long stated that she's, hands down, my favourite actress; her role in Tina Tuner's 1993 biopic 'What's Love Got To Do With It' has had me hooked on her ever since. A prestigious award for such a rare talent. Congratulations.
