I think that since Etta James is coaching Beyonce herself that Beyonce is the perfect choice to portray Etta in the movie. Beyonce has proved she can act with Dreamgirls & especially The Fighting Temptations. Can't wait for this new movie.

I KNOW YA'LL ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE ME BUT I KNOW SOMEONE WHO WORKED ON THE SET OF DREAMGIRLS .BEYONCE WAS SET UP ON DREAMGIRLS THEY TOLD HER SHE WAS GOING TO BE THE STAR OF DREAMGIRLS BUT THEY CUT ALL OF HER GOOD SCENES AND THEN THEY SHOWED THE MOVIE TO ALL THE CAST MEMEBERS AND BEYONCE HAD A CONCERT TO DO AND THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO WAIT TO SHOW THE MOVIE AND THEY SHOWED IT WITHOUT HER ANYWAY AND THEN SHE CAME THE NEXT DAY AND HAD TO WATCH THE MOVIE BY HERSELF . THEY NEVER TOLD HER THEY CUT MOST HER HER PARTS , SHE WAS CRYING AND UPSET AND MATTHEW HAD TO COME AND CURSE THE DIRECTOR OUT .IT WAS REALLY REALLY BAD . EVERYBODY ON THE SET WAS OVER IT AND THE DIRECTOR TOLD MATTHEW IT WAS HIS MOVIE .SO THAT'S WHY BEYONCE IS THE CO PRODUCER OF THIS MOVIE SO SHE DOESN'T GET SCREW AGAIN.PLUS ETTA IS COACHING HER SO IT WILL BE A GREAT MOVIE .THIS MOVIE WILL BE HER BREAKOUT PERFORMANCE TRUST ME .
