As well as featuring classic music videos, From The Vault gives a nod to memorable live performances too. Indeed, this week's video is memorable - for all the wrong reasons; Cassie's now infamous BET 106 & Park performance of 'Me & U'. Terrible from start to finish; the 2006 showing left, and continues to leave, many puzzled as to how exactly she bagged a record deal.

Your thoughts?

Humm...i think u'r all wrong...Cassie doesn't sing a shit on stage but her album was really good...& Me&U deserved to be a hit cause it had a cool sound...why not give her a 2nd chance? I'll wait for her 2nd album and then we'll see if she can or not bring something even better...

Yall are crazy! Where's her talent? Maybe a modle, but nothing special about her. I died looking at this. Diddy getting desperate for money. She talked her way through the song and people still cheer for her. Wow.

Cassie definitely cannot sing! I never heard her whole album, but I didn't want to anyways. Why'd she get a record deal? Probably more for her looks than her talent obviously. She is probably making more money modeling anyway. But everyone should know by now, that the music industry is not based on talent. Some of the biggest selling artist are NOT GREAT VOCALIST!! Take Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Madonna,...the list goes on. History teaches us that you don't need talent in order to make a #1 song.

Well, this VOCAL was pretty bad, i must admit, but, her dancing was good though, i saw the crowd get a lil pumped on alot of her moves. I know somebody gonna jump down my throat for this but, she really reminds me of Aaliyah when she first started out in the early 90's. Aaliyah, at first was not a good singer, but she had those moves and Cassie has a special something on that stage, not sure what it is but it's there. And Ryan Leslie, who produced and wrote her album gets mad kudos b/c he's a beast and has alot to do with her success!! I just think she needs time to grow as an artist, she'll be fine.
