Why everybody alwayyz wanna sugercoat everything about her r yaw watching the same thing as me can u here her weak strainy voice. she talk through most of the performance becuz she cant sing and when she do sing she sing for a short second then get tired then talk again, if it wasnt 4 her background singers this girl would be in trouble. she beautiful but she needs serious help with er vioce, i remember when she first out she sounded beautiful but now ugh go sit the f*ck down hoe!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No it's not hating! It should be obvious to everyone that the Knowles clan who call the shots at Music World, Kelly's Management company, do not put the same effort into promoting Kelly that they do B.
Kelly clearly has talent and so does Bey but Bey gets alot more opportunities to shine. I strongly believe that they do not put as much effort into promoting Kelly's albums or getting her endorsements deals or performance opportunities.
I mean simple things like poster ads on buses or yahoo/google ads Kelly doesnt get while everytime I log into my Yahoo email they are telling me to buy B-Day. Why dont they do an ad campaign for Kelly.
Seriously, were they serious about the re-release of Ms Kelly when the only promo was Kelly running around to a few local radio stations. No TV tour (Jay Leno, GMA, The View, Tyra, Regis, etc), no BET ad campaign and most importantly it was a solely digital album and there was no major internet marketing campaign via yahoo, google, AOL, etc.
Am I being excessive? You know Bey would have had all that and more. Not only in the US but Canada, all of Europe, Australia......
They release 1 song every 6 months for Kelly so she is soon forgotten while Bey is constantly in the limelight whether premiering 2 songs in one day on 106 & Park or doing major awards shows. I mean "Work" was such a powerful song that it still made a great impact in the UK even after such a long wait and lots of clubs playing it a lot. But if that was released right after Like This, Kelly's place in the industry would have been secured.
Plus there is the difference in quality of videos, clothing, bookings, etc. but I'll stop there for now.
Why we compare....
The release, promotion and re-release of MS Kelly was VERY poorly managed and most Kelly fans feel that since we know that Matthew Knowles and Music World know how to get things right when it comes to Beyonce, We are upset when they do not do right by Kelly.
We know that Beyonce has a lot of endorsement deals and that is different but I cant understand what went down with Ms Kelly. It has such great singles: Like This, Work, SILWME,Comeback and now Love Again.
However,
1- they keep ignoring the best singles,
2- the actual singles lifted dont get the airplay they deserve (we know you have to pay some stations- why else do we hear Irreplaceable, Umbrella & No one every 5 minutes when it's not a request show?)
3-Cheap ass videos. Poor production- Ghetto looks like a 1st year film major directed it. Work is way too hot a song for that video repeating the same scenes over and over... and in some of the scenes the audio is not in sync.
4- Too few videos. Bey has a video for more than 1/2 of her album: Kitty Kat, Greenlight, Suga Mama, Deja Vu, Irreplaceable, Ring the Alarm, Freakum Dress, Get me Bodied & Listen.
I like Beyonce. She is talented and I am not blaming her but I wish her father and the rest of the camp would give Kelly some of the 1st class management they give to her.

I happen to agree with what Anon(WHY WE COMPARE) said. She is recieving less promotion where as Beyonce is everywhere. But at the same time you can't completely place the blame on the Knowles. It is Kelly's choice/fault to stay with poor management. She is happy with being second best, otherwise she would have kept it moving and think about her career first. I don't see her having the confidence to say "Hey I want this, so can u get me that deal Matthew?" At this point I would not be surprised if Michelle did better than Kelly. Honestly...the re-release is a waste of money, when she could of start over with a new album and a new attitude. Some have a problem with dealing with 1 opinions by showing rage towards artist(Ciara, Fergie, Rhianna,etc.) that are doing far better than Kelly. If u ask me those artists have much more confidence than Kelly. Ciara has stage presence and dances her butt off. Rhianna has the best promotional team on planet earth. Fergie...naw u can't front on her. She sings her azz off, better vocal chords than Kelly. I'm sorry Fergie can sing.
I think the child is great, altough ti is her own fault for not demanding better management, she is as talented as many other artitst. She is not given the same press, but who's to blame Kelly needs to kick up her confidence and fire Matthew. The record Ms. Kelly is great, the re-release is not. The best records have never been played.... The Show featuring Tank,Comeback,Love and let's not forget Ghetto got noooo promotion, and now Snoop has a song just like it with the same theme in his video

Please Kelly get new management or demand an effective publicist/ promotions team.
I remember Michelle posting on her My Space one time that her page had not been updated so long and she had so many friends pending because the person who maintains her My Space was busy on tour with Beyonce. I was like WTF? You guys dont have your own people. What kind of second rate BS is that?
