Teyana Taylor - 'Google Me' Video

The video for newcomer Teyana Taylor's single 'Google Me' premiered yesterday. A protegee of Pharrell Williams, Teyana's debut has generated quite a buzz. The song is the first single to be lifted from Taylor's LP 'From A Planet Called Harlem' (due May 20th). About the video, I'm really liking its concept, as it ties in well with the song. Saying that, the execution could have been a bit better - something about the vid comes across kinda cheap-looking. Still, Teyana's unique sing/rap combination on her track(s) makes for her to be a breath of fresh air in an increasingly 'samey' industry. Tidbit: did you spot the cameo by a certain 'O' singer?

Wow!!! She'd get it lol i saw her on Sweet 16 n i lykd her hood style den aswell lol N whoever said poor mans ciara is wrong, she'l have a lot of publicity and advertising on her. Give it a month!

THe vid may seem cheap, but the whole concept was to not over do it for her. Sometimes to much high def video's don't show the true artist talent. I think it was just right. You can hear her vocals and dancers wern't in her way. Yes, a video can break or make a person, but she's just breaking da ice. I like her accent. She has a stage grace about her. I thought it was nice, something different. Better than that crap Soja boy is doing. no talent.
