Janet Tour to Kick Off September 11th In news that will, no doubt, please Janet Jackson's army of fans, the Pop superstar has confirmed to E! Online that her much-anticipated world tour will start on September 11th. According to the 'Feedback' singer, promotion for the her album 'Discipline' is on-going, with tour rehearsal commencing in a months time. {Source}

While it's great to see Janet pressing on with promotion and the tour, I sure as hell hope that Def Jam/her people have some plan in place to help shift some more units of the record. After all, healthy album sales, for the most part, equal good ticket sales.

Will you be checking for Janet's tour?

It is not going to sell. She did not even promote Rock with You. Her label is playing her to look really stupid. Mariah tour start in Sept to. Where is Janet now? When TEOM came out they were 100% behind MC. Why isnt Janet getting the same support? She havent did anything to promote this album at all. MC and Madonna is on a role,Janet is where? Where Is JANET? Her CD flop, 3 strikes you are out!She looks really stupid NOW!

ofcourse this is a wicked idea! Janet hasnt gone on tour in 7 long years, people have been waiting for this for a long ass time! i will pay to go see her for damn sure, she's the ONLY performer worth watching live (don't get me started on the madonna). janet kills it every tour and i know she goin bring the heat this tour it'll probably help her album sales. although this album didn't sell well people will run out to see her live she's just that good. janet shits on madonna and britney. can't wait till september!

Their is no Tour People.

It is going to get cancel,She did not even promote Discipline. LA went back on his word. IDJ and LA Reid and JD only care about is Mariah. They have supported Mariah all the way thru her new release.
This tour is not going to sell,they want Janet to do bad.
They didnt even promote RWU at all.
LA Reid havent even comment on Janet album at all.
Sorry Janet fans but it aint happening.
Her boyfriend do not even want Janet to perform and do good!

rumors that have recently surfaced in the office at IDJ... Is that Mariah threw a FIT when she 1st got the info. that LA REID had plans to sign janet to IDJ! They say she cried, and made a huge scene in his office! And that she made LA REID promise not to Executive Produce Janet's album, but rather let JD executive produce it.


This is what is going around............ So why isnt Janet getting the same support?
When Mariah release TEOM she got alot of support from the Label? Now why can't we get the same support for Janet?
Why isnt Janet performing? She is loosing Fans.

Come on everybody relax yes Island slipped up but isn't JD a boss over there yes he has not helped with promotion either but since the flu situation Janet has not been promoting at all. Also word on the street is Janet decided at the last minute to promote the album because originally she did not promote the project at all.Trust me that's word of an employee at Def Jam.
