This Jay-Z assisted remix of Mariah Carey's current single 'Bye Bye' surfaced just a few hours ago. Perhaps it's due to the fact that I'm not sold on the original version, but this doesn't really do much for me. Unlike Mariah's past remixes, which oft are equally as good, if not better than the originals, this is kinda blah. On a more positive note, the track is worth a listen, if only to hear Jay's untouchable flow.LISTEN: Bye Bye (Remix) (ft. Jay-Z)

yeah, the E=MC² remixes suck. I can't believe she abandoned the Morales remix in favour of this piece of crap. If you're going to remix a ballad... it needs to be good. Mariah has SO SO SO MANY great remixes under her belt and this is NOT one of them. She should just release an acapella of it. THAT would be pretty and more emotional/believeable.
She needs to get back to re-writing and re-recording her remixes. I love Jay's part but not hers. I love the album version and will listen to that. She truly knows what a remix is supposed to be and needs to get back to it. The TMB Morales mix got scrapped b/c she didn't have time to do the vocals. I know she is busy as hell, but she needs to not neglect her mixes.
Has anyone heard the desert storm remix of Don't Forget About Us. Its been on YouTube forever. Its a music video showing her in her home studios in NYC and in her apartment and in Times Square. New vocals.

remix is bangin! she probalby would've addd a few verses and changed the arrangement if she had time. Mariah's on heavy promotion right now and for a remix to release this early is seriousness. jay layed his verses down i sounded on point. i dunno why sam's always nit picking on Mariah, just let her be and enjoy her music! Just cause JJ ain't doing business don't mean you gotta hate on the DIVA!
