New Song: Cassie - '2 The Morning'

Bad Boy's Cassie is currently readying her still-untitled sophomore LP for a September release. In the meanwhile, another cut from the set has surfaced - the Bryan Michael Cox produced '2 The Morning'. I'll be honest in saying that I greet much of Cassie's material with a lot of scepticism (for obvious reasons), however I'm really feeling this. B. Cox switched it up from his trademark 'crunk ballad', delivering a sure-fire club banger in the process; and, let's face it, a Cassie track is only as good as its beat.

Well...i luv Cassie's songs...obviously her voice only has some melodic tones...not a powerfull one loool but her songs all hav hard beats that just makes u wanna jump on the dancefloor...though any other does as me&u did...i hope she keeps workin...

I dont know hwy Cassie receives so much critisism...

Ok she hasnt got the best voice in the world but who cares, she delivers pretty solid tunes and remains consistant.

She reminds me of Aaliyah, not the strongest voice in the world but always rides the hot beats perfectly.

Wasnt her new album entitled "Conneticut Fever?"

It's true, the beat is hot , but she's not. I think she should stick with modleling. Sorry Cassie, but this isn't your playground.

God, am I tired of the "crunk" sound. Please, somebody, anybody, take R&B music to the next level before it dies!

well yea, Cassie has it easy since she was discovered via Myspace, but she's gorgeous and has that sweet, cute, innocent girly voice that average girls today can relate to... her first album was a great start (especially: "me and you," "long way 2 go" "kiss me" and "just one night") and this new album should be at least a 40% improvement.

Such a waste of song! This hot beat should be sang by a real singer, not someone like Cassie.
