It would appear Janet Jackson's stalled 'Discipline' project is set to be given a renewed lease of life. There are murmurings that this remix of album cut (and supposed new single) 'Can't Be Good', courtesy of Jamaican star Red Rat, will feature on a re-packaged version of the LP. About the track...hmm...it's ok, I guess. Considering I'm not at all a big fan of the original, it's hardly surprising that this doesn't really move me. If there is truth to the talk of re-release, I say drop a completely new/unheard cut, followed by what the masses seem to be liking most - 'LUV' and/or '2Nite'. Though, by no means a masterpiece, 'Discipline' does have a lot of 'hit single' potential; potential that if wasted would be real unfortunate.
Hit or Miss?
