Burgeoning R&B star Solange performed her current single 'I Decided' on the Kansas City tour stop of her joint 'The Art of Love Tour' with Raheem DeVaughn and Christette Michelle on June 1st. Check out the performance below {Video credit: Bryan W. Thanks}:

I'm pleasantly surprised, she sounded even better than the record. Her vocals have most definitely matured, as has her stage presence. With the right promotion and single releases, Solange, IMO, really has the potential to be one of the biggest celebrity siblings to make a major impact in their own right - in the same way Janet emerged from Michael's shadow more than 20 years ago. Great performance.

Solange's video for 'I Decided' premieres tomorrow. Keep it locked on That Grape Juice for the goods...

What do you think of the performance?

Sorry Solange did nothing for me her first go round, and she did not move this time either. Sorry greatness does not fix here. Home girl should continue to write for Bee and others and collect checks that way because the spotlight is not for her.

Reminds me of an early Diana Ross & the Supremes. Didn't care for it.

did u really try to compare solange's potential breakout success to janet's? i think a brandy and ray j analogy would have been more appropriate

She sounded awesome, really good live singer, I'm surprised! I've been a massive fan of Solange since I heard "Simply Deep", she definitely appeals to me way more than Beyonce. I can't wait for this Neo-Soul album, I think its actually gonna be similar to Chrisette Michelle's, they have a similar vibe, and that's a GOOD thing, I love me some Chrisette.

LMFAO at the woman who gets up and walks past the camera, she obviously wasn't feelin' the performance as much as I was!
