Now, while I take on the 'more power to her' stance with Ms. Knowles and her never-ending endorsement deals, I can't say I'm all too thrilled with this one. Lawd know I love Beyonce...but what in the world was she, her management, and Loreal thinking with this picture! But after considering who purchases Loreal, I understand why she looks like a white women!
But it still is JUST WRONG...on so many different levels! Either way, I am anticipating the new album!

I hate to see the most sucessful black artists dimming more into trying to look white.I'm no racist or nothing close (no hater, just not a fan anymore) but Beyonce has always been one of many (Rihanna included) to use some bronzer or anything to lighten up her skin. Shes light skin yeah but even more she is a black woman. Creole, or whatever you call it, still classified as African American.
I'm sorry but this looks a hot mess her skin is not that dang light and powdery lookin. She looks like a middle-aged white woman wit a synthetic wig on, not young and fresh like a young woman her age should. Whoever is responsible for this should be ashamed, I mean dang is it really that bad to be BLACK nowadays?

Everyone is aloud to make an opinion so the Beyonce puppets can fall back. The pic is too photoshopped and the cheap lace front and lack of make up make Beyonce look off. For example, the wrinkles around her mouth are showing and for a make up advertisement that is plain stupid. Except for non-matching eye-shadow what is this pic promoting? Dumb!

lol.......these comments are hilarious....... Queen Bey looks great and yet on the other side of it like a causcasian woman. That is her nose...its just really sticking out because of the alteration of her skin color. Otherwise a nice ad......I feel like first lady Tyra could be proud of this though.
Congrats all around!!! Beyonce is a woman who's built her career on negotiating her race. So I for one am not surprized by this photo. If anything, we have just allowed her to be more bold with this. African-Americans are mixed. Yes, our ancestors are African, but you have to remember, whites, native Americans, and the Spanish mixed with Africans. This explains the many different colors of our skin and textures of our hair.Everybody has a mixture of something in them. So, to say she is mixed is correct, but so is any other black American.

Sam I'm glad that you pointed this out and I applaud you since you are from the UK, a prodomately white country. I've read articles on how the black/dark skinned female singers aren't appreciated or even really exsistant. Anyway, I'm not a fan of Beyonce but even if I was, I'm not stupid enough to feed into her manufactured image like some of you are. Y'all either worship Beyonce too much to see thats she tries so hard to relate to the white race, or y'all like the look of lighter and mixed females. Beyonce is a black female! She is not mixed at all! Technically all black american's have mixed races, but we are still black. People like Halle Berry and Alicia Keys are mixed. If they wanted a black female who also appealed to the white audience, they should've picked them.
