R&B star Ne-Yo debuted the video for 'Miss Independent' - the 2nd single to be lifed from his upcoming LP 'Year of The Gentleman'-a few hours ago on the FN'MTV finale. The clip, which features cameos from Gabrielle Union, Keri Hilson, Lauren London and Trey Songz, really brings to life the album's concept; something, if I'm to be honest, I was finding a little hard to grasp. Great song, even better video. Good stuff.

I love this song - melody, arrangement, message. The video is wonderful. Love the ode to Boomerang. Gabby and Lauren look gorgeous and sophisticated. Trey is sexy.

I gotta admit eventhough I'm not particular about everything NeYo does when he writes a hit he writes a hit. This song is definitely a hit and the video is an ode to being grown, sexy and independent. Plus he got my wifey Gabrielle in the video so I knew I was gonna like it.

Looovee this song! Been waiting for the vid for ages and am not disappointed! Trey Songz is looking fine in it 2! Love ne-yo he is such an amazing performer 2 i saw him at greenwich indigo2 last month and am totally gonna see him again at hammersmith! Love it, miss independant is my tuune.

if i hear the lyrics "there's something about" one more damn time in that song... im going to scream. couldn't he have added a few other words. and changed it up? the whole damn song is "oooo there is something about, something about, something about her..."
