In an interview with UK tabloid News of The World, Amy Winehouse's controversial hubby Blake Fielder-Civil has fessed up to essentially making the Grammy winner a drug junkie: Amy Winehouse’s husband has admitted he made his wife a junkie - and he plans to leave the troubled pop star to “save her life.”Here's hoping this allows for Amy to clean up her act. She's too talented to allow the drugs bug to tarnish what can still be a very bright future.
“I dragged Amy into [drugs] and without me there is no doubt that she would never have gone down that road,” Blake Fielder-Civil told Britain’s News of the World in an explosive new interview.
“Now I have to let her go to save her life. I am not abandoning her. I am doing this out of love.”
Fielder-Civil, who likens his relationship with his wife to that of Romeo and Juliet, is currently in a London-area rehab facility where he has resided since his Nov. 5 release from jail.
Winehouse has still not visited her husband since he left prison, but was hospitalized again on Nov. 20 for what her rep says was a “reaction to medication.” It’s unclear whether she has been released.
“I introduced her to heroin, crack cocaine and self-harming. I feel more than guilty,” Fielder-Civil says. {Source}
