During her set at the Glastonbury 2008 festival here in the UK yesterday, train-wreck Amy Winehouse elbowed a concert goer in the face, after the reportedly having her hair pulled by the victim. Check out the clip below:

Amy, Amy Amy...

There's more though; the troubled star also took a moment to call out rapper Kanye West - randomly labelling him a 'cunt' to the 90, 000 strong crowd during her performance of 'Some Unholy War'. Check out the audio via World Star Hip-Hop below:

Kanye released a response via his official blog today, simply remarking "Amy Winehouse hates me!!! Now I've really made it!!! LOL!!!!"

For Amy I really have no words...

Amy Winehouse In New Racism ScandalDrug addict Amy Winehouse today found herself at the center of yet another scandal - one that is threatening to leave her career in ruins.

UK tabloid The News of The World was sold videos and pics from the camera of Winehouse's husband Blake Fielder-Civil'. Among the many pics of Amy, Blake and a friend in their crack den, a video, featuring the 'Rehab' singer performing a racist chant was included. A mess and then some...check out the vid and pics below:

Click here to view the pics

After watching that, I'm pretty much through with Amy; there's only so many times one can say 'if only she got her act together'. Though I'm almost certain that a statement to the effect of 'I'm not a racist' will be released, drugged out or not, there's no excuse for saying such things. What makes the whole incident all the more bizarre is that Amy's own genre music is of black heritage. A complete cracked out mess. SMH...

Winehouse's 'Close' To Marriage Break-UpAccording to reports, controversial singer Amy Winehouse has started making plans to end her 11 month marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil:
The singer is waiting for her partner to be released from jail before she breaks the news to him, according to The Sun.

Fielder-Civil is currently awaiting trial at Pentonville Prison on charges of assault and attempting to pervert the course of justice.

Winehouse has apparently missed several visits to the North London prison and is behaving like a "single woman" with friends.

"Amy does everything she can not to visit," said a source. "She forgets she is married half the time. There are a few men she is close to and Blake can’t stand it."

The Back To Black star's father commented: "It wouldn’t surprise me if Amy and Blake had broken up." {Source}
Evidently, they weren't good for each other; so I guess this is a good thing. Maybe now she'll be less of a train-wreck and concentrate on the music.

Amy Winehouse Poses Naked Controversial singer Amy Winehouse posed for this revealing picture for the April issue of UK magazine Easy Living. Snapped by photographer Carolyn Djangoly, the pic is being used as part of a campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer among young women. I commend Amy for supporting such a good cause, but...

The 2008 Brit Awards took place last night here in London. Check out the performances below:

Amy Winehouse - Love Is A Losing Game

Rihanna & The Klaxons - Umbrella

More performances:

Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love

Mark Ronson (ft. Amy Winehouse) - Valerie

The Brits Award's shunning of urban music has kinda made it a bit of a non-event for me. Still, the performances were entertaining. Rihanna was just ok, I guess. Leona was her usual near flawless self. All eyes were on the recovering Amy Winehouse, who delivered two very interesting performances. I'd be lying if I said her vocals weren't down-right horrid in places on both songs. However, she did a pretty good job overall. Random tidbit: don't you just love her little shimmy dance lol. For real, it's great to see her finally getting herself together.

What do you think of the performances?

Natalie Cole: Winehouse Didn't Deserve Grammy's It appears not everyone was pleased with Amy Winehouse's big win at yesterday's Grammy Awards. Singer Natalie Cole has expressed her disapproval:

“I don’t think she deserved it,” previous Grammy-winning singer Natalie Cole said. “I think she needs to get her life together first, and then get the awards later."

Winehouse took a break from rehab to perform via satellite from London at the Grammys and collect five awards.

Cole also called Winehouse “crazy,” and complained that we are teaching youngsters that they can get rewarded for bad behavior. {Source}

While I can see where Cole's coming from, her comments make no sense. Yes Amy was a mess and whatnot, but that doesn't take away from the brilliance that was her 'Back To Black' album. Is Natalie implying that Amy's stupidity should be punished by not rewarding her music - no matter how good? I respect Natalie and her achievements, but surely she'd be better off engaging her brain before making such silly a comment.

West & Winehouse Added To Grammy Performers Grammy front-runner's Kanye West and Amy Winehouse have been added to the list of performers at the big show on Sunday.

The Recording Academy, today, issued a press release confirming West, who is up for eight awards, will hit the stage (rumored to be tribute to his mother who passed in November).

As reported yesterday, Winehouse was denied a US visa; however organisers revealed the 'Rehab' singer, who is up for six awards, will perform live via satellite in a London studio. {Source}

I'm happy Amy will be able to represent herself and the UK in some capacity at the show. With both her and Kanye now on the bill, the Grammy's are getting better and better. US visitors can catch the Grammy's live this Sunday on CBS at 8pm / UK visitors can catch the show on ITV1 at 9pm on Monday 11th February (the next day).

It has been announced that Amy Winehouse will not be attending the Grammy Awards on Sunday, as her visa request was turned down by the US Embassy. Check out the report via Yahoo News below:

The Outside Organization, which counts the troubled retro-soul sensation among its clients, said in an e-mail that Winehouse — who shot to fame with the autobiographical single "Rehab" — was disappointed but had been treated well by embassy staff.

"Amy has been progressing well since entering a rehabilitation clinic two weeks ago and although disappointed with the decision has accepted the ruling and will be concentrating on her recovery," the Outside Organization said.

The statement didn't say why her application was rejected. The U.S. Embassy in London declined to comment late Thursday. Shane O'Neill, Winehouse's spokesman, said he had nothing to add to the statement.

The 24-year-old singer and her acclaimed "Back to Black" album are nominated in six categories at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday.

I guess it's, somewhat, of a shame. There's no doubt her past drug use had something too do with it. She's fixing herself up now, which is what's most important. The Grammy's will come and go, but she only has one life.

Amy Winehouse Caught Smoking CrackUK newspaper The Sun has published exclusive pictures of trainwreck-in-waiting, Amy Winehouse, taking a cocktail of drugs -including cocaine - whilst at a party last Friday (January 18th). The paper also reports the 'Rehab' singer snorted powdered ecstasy, as well admitting to taking six Valium pills to “bring myself down". Check out the rest of the pics below (you can watch the video by clicking here):

The official video for the rumored last single from Amy Winehouse's 'Back To Black' album premiered recently. I say 'official', as a live performance version of the video has been floating around for a little while. Anyway, I'm kinda baffled as to why this is just surfacing now; the single was released here in the UK today. About the video: it's a little weird...almost like a 'In Remembrance of...' vid. Here's hoping life doesn't imitate art with that one. On a brighter note, the song is great and I feel it caps off what has been an amazing year for Amy - professionally. All she needs to do is sort herself out and sky is the limit.

The nominees for the 50th Annual Grammy Awards were announced just a few short hours ago and it's rapper Kanye West and UK singing sensation Amy Winehouse who lead the field. West notched up eight nominations, whilst 'Rehab' singer Winehouse clocked in with an impressive six nominations. The news is likely welcomed by both artists, who have each been through a difficult few months - West losing his mother and Winehouse's much documented drink and drug issues.

Both West and Winehouse are nominated in the coveted 'Album Of The Year' category for their 'Graduation' and 'Back To Black' albums respectively. Winehouse is also nominated for 'Song Of The Year' and 'Record Of The Year' for her smash 'Rehab'. In the latter category, Winehouse faces competition from Beyonce's 'Irreplaceable', Rihanna's 'Umbrella' and Justin Timberlake's 'What Goes Around Comes Around'.

Click here to see the full list of nominees

Winners will be announced at the live show on Sunday February 10th 2008. The show will take place at Los Angeles' Staple Centre. Keep it locked here for all the latest in the run-up to the big day.

This is beyond a joke now, she needs help - fast:
If Amy Winehouse’s fans were hoping she might be trying to get her act together, these pictures will not provide much reassurance.

Barefoot, and clad only in her bra and jeans, the troubled singer emerged from a friend’s house in Bow at 5.45am on Sunday looking distressed and agitated - as her mother-in-law says she taking more drugs than ever.

Onlookers said she appeared disorientated as she wandered around on the pavement for several minutes in the freezing cold before disappearing back inside.

Quite why she came outside only half dressed in the early hours is unclear. One onlooker said she looked up and down the road as if she was waiting for someone, but no one arrived at the house.

“She came out of the house, walked down the drive and wandered around on the pavement for a bit.

“She looked upset and agitated but there was no obvious reason for her to have come outside. It was weird.”

Amy Winehouse's tour manager has up and left the embattled 'Rehab' singer, claming that working for the star was harming his health. See the report below:
Troubled Amy Winehouse has been dealt another blow today after her tour manager quit amid drugs accusations.

Thom Stone walked out on the singer just a day after she had a meltdown during a gig in Birmingham, swearing at fans and falling over on stage.

Mr. Stone confirmed he had quit after it was said that he found working with Winehouse and her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil who is currently behind bars, was harming his health.

The last straw was when Amy, 24, and Blake were arrested with cannabis in Norway last month.

The Sun reported today that doctors found heroin in Mr. Stone’s system after he inhaled it passively on Amy’s tour bus.

The tour manager is said to have produced a doctor’s note which revealed traces of the class A drug in his blood.

“He insisted to the management team that the only way that could have happened would have been through inhaling it from Blake and Amy. Thom just had it up to here. It was a nightmare job,” the paper reported. {Source}
As much as I support Amy, there's no denying the woman is out of her mind. Check out this vid of her allegedly taking 'something' on stage during her show in Zurich recently:

How and why she is still allowed to perform when it's common knowledge she's a crack head is beyond me. Someone needs to stop all this before it's too late. SMH..

It's well established that Amy Winehouse is a trainwreck-in-waiting, yet at the same time that's part of why we like her so much. However, this mess of a performance at last night's MTV Europe Music Awards cannot be excused. All the hollering and wailing just killed the song - making it almost unrecognisable from the CD version. Terrible.

Amy Winehouse is seriously a train-wreck waiting to happen. The 'Rehab' singer and her junkie husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, got into a drug-fueled fight at a London hotel in the early hours of this morning - leaving them both bloodied and bruised. Click here to read the full story.

Didn't she just check into rehab for real? Whatever the case, she needs help fast. Yes, her 'alternative' lifestyle was part of her appeal, but it's all going too far.

British singing sensation Amy Winehouse was rushed to hospital yesterday (August 8th) - suffering from a suspected drugs induced overdose. Though official word from Winehouse's label cites 'severe exhaustion' as the reason for the star being admitted to London's University College Hospital, the papers are suggesting otherwise. According to The Sun :"Limp Amy Winehouse was dragged through an A&E unit’s double doors before collapsing from a huge drugs overdose." The 'Rehab' singer has consequently cancelled all her forthcoming European concerts. {Source}

I'm hoping this will make for her to get help with whatever issues she has - and she definitely has some. Part of Amy's appeal is, undeniably, her 'I Don't Give a F*ck' persona, yet 'life' is much more important than that. Here's hoping she's ok - it would be a shame for such talent to be wasted.

'Tears Dry On Their Own' is latest single to be lifted from Amy Winehouse's breakthrough album 'Back to Black'. The track is one of my personal favourites from the album and I'm glad it was chosen as a single. Though this David LaChapelle directed video isn't all that great, it's still pretty decent and doesn't take away from what is a great song

The 2007 MTV Movie Awards took place last night in Los Angeles. Both Rihanna and Amy Winehouse performed at the star-studded event. Check out their performances:

Rihanna - Umbrella

I have to admit, I wasn't expecting Rihanna's anticipated performance with Jay-Z to be anything special; however I was pleasantly surprised by how good she did. Everything from her stage presence, to the vocals, to her look were all on-point. I'm still wondering what relevance Jay-Z has on the song, as he added nothing to the performance.

Amy Winehouse - Rehab

UK singing sensation Amy Winehouse also took to the stage to perform her hit 'Rehab'. I liked her performance and felt it improved as it went on. She's definitely had better performances than this, though. At the start she seemed kinda uncomfortable, yet got it together by the middle of the song.

What do you think of their performances?
