Cherish Member Neosha Gets MarriesAfter six years of dating, Cherish member Neosha King tied the knot with boyfriend Jason Lawrence early this month. The small, intimate beach ceremony was held on Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Essence magazine were on hand to cover the couple's big day. As well as photographing, the mag interviewed the pair:

Neosha On Jason: "Jason and I both had come out of bad relationships," explained Neosha, "and we met when he visited his childhood friend, who was also my sister Farrah's then boyfriend. From the beginning, there was something special between us."

Jason On Neosha: "When I saw her walk down the aisle it hit me that we were getting married,” says Jason, a design engineer. “We’d been in love for so long and on one accord that it always felt like we were married. She was so beautiful it simply reaffirmed that she was The One for me."

I actually had no idea that Neosha was engaged or anything. In any case, congratulations to both her and Jason.

Any thoughts?

Cherish - 'I Ain't Trippin''I Ain't Trippin' is a cut from Cherish's solid sophomore 'The Truth', due this coming Tuesday (May 13th). Produced by Tricky Stewart, the song, with it's club-driven beat and the girls' tightflow, is defnitely a winner IMO.

With Cherish's new LP 'The Truth' due next Tuesday (May 13th), the video for the album's 2nd single 'Amnesia' premiered on BET yesterday. I guess it serves its purpose, however, having heard the album in its entirety, there are many a single that could have been chosen over this. Making the situation worse is the fact that the label are doing an appalling job of promoting the project. Best of luck to them - they're going to need it.

Our friends over at The Most Access caught up with the ladies of Cherish on the set of their new video 'Amnesia'. Check it out:

While the song has grown on me a little more, the video looks set to be a bore. I'm also finding it hard to ignore the striking similarities between this and the clip for their single 'Unappreciated'. Cherish's new album 'The Truth' hits stores on May 3rd.

New Cherish Promo PicSister R&B quartet Cherish are prepping the release of their sophomore effort 'The Truth' for May 3rd. The shot above is a promotional pic for the set. It's a definitely a case of hit and miss with some of the girls; I would say who, but I couldn't tell you their individual names if I tried lol. Farah and Fallon (the twins, I presume) are all I can come up with at the minute. A prize for the first commenter who can name the girls in order (...no, really).

Cherish UpdateCapitol recording artists Cherish have pushed back the release of their sophomore effort 'The Truth' to May 13th. The set was originally set to drop on April 29th. To coincide with the release of the record, a second single has been lined up in the form of 'Amnesia' (a video for which is set to be shot in the coming weeks). Whilst I'm liking the slow/mid-tempo cut, I feel the girls excel on their more upbeat/club-destined tracks i.e. 'Do It', 'Shoe Fanatic' and 'Keep It Fresh'. Kinda has me thinking whether this has any real chance of making an impact on the charts - a much needed occurrence for the group after the so-so performance of their last single 'Killa'.

R&B quartet Cherish are set to drop their sophomore album 'The Truth' on April 29th. The above is the official album art for the set. While the pic looks good, I'm not so optimistic about their album's chance of success. Next to no buzz, no follow-up single to the under-performing 'Killa' (it was a terrible track IMO), leaves me wondering if they are being set up for a flop. I'm hoping not, as the girls are pretty talented.

R&B quartet Cherish are back on the music scene with new single 'Killa'. Set to feature on the soundtrack for dance flick 'Step Up 2', the track will also serve as the girl's first single from their forthcoming album 'The Truth'. To be honest, neither the song or video are hold my attention for long. Still, having heard some of their new material, I'm optimistic about the rest of the album.

Check out this new promotional pic for R&B collective Cherish. The sisters are currently prepping the release of their sophomore effort 'The Truth' - which is set to drop March 28th 2008. I'm guessing this pic is indicative of the look they're going for this time around; I'm liking it.

In other news, it has been confirmed that 'Killa' (ft. Yung Joc) will be the first track to be lifted from their new CD.

With the release of Cherish's new album set for early next year, the CD's alleged first single has surfaced. The track, which features Bad Boy's Yung Joc, is somewhat of a departure from their material of past. Unfortunately, I don't feel it to be a step in the right direction; the track sounds very generic and doesn't really go anywhere. Here's hoping they bring the goods with the rest of the album.

It's been a while since we've heard any new material from Capitol recording group Cherish. However, as the quartet continue to work on their currently untitled sophomore effort (due in 2008), a new track has surfaced called 'Shoe Fanatic'. Though the song's subject is kinda 'blah', I'm liking this. The production is on-point and the girls ride the beat nicely. I'm actually anticipating the group's new CD; the first album was pretty good and it seems they've found their niche - the fun uptempo's.

Prior to hearing this new track, I had been wondering where Cherish have been for sometime now. After their hit 'Do It To It' blew up the charts and clubs alike, they seemingly disappeared into music obscurity - with their follow-up single 'Unappreciated' tanking. However, it has been reported that the girls are working on their sophomore CD and this new track 'Keep It Fresh' will apparently be featured on the set. I'm definitely liking this one; it's a cool summer uptempo jam. The production and vocal arrangements remind me of an urban nursery rhyme - in a good way. I'm waiting on that 2nd album, as the first - which was certified Gold- was pretty decent and this track is great.
