Just days after publicly saying 'F**k G-Unit', a teary Young Buck recently called up 50 Cent to apologize, begging to rejoin the group because he is broke and without direction. Check out the phone call, which has been making the rounds on the net, below:

Damn. Whoever leaked that to the net was wrong for doing so; it's really not a good look for Buck whichever way this mess turns out in the end. Still, saying that, it really drives home the shadiness that goes on behind the scenes; all the constant flaunting rappers like Buck do of a lifestyle they in reality don't lead is made all the more evident here.

G-Unit - 'T.O.S.' CoverOur friends over at RapUp.com, revealed the official album art for G-Unit's forthcoming album 'Terminate On Site (T.O.S) '.

Kinda off-topic, but is anyone actually still checking for 50 and G-Unit? It's the 106 & park interview (from a few days ago) that did it for me; 50 certainly isn't as hot of a commodity as he once was and Banks and Yayo seem content in playing second fiddle. Something about them seems so...pathetic.

50 Cent: 'Young Buck Gone From G-Unit' It turns out the rumors of friction among Hip-Hop collective G-Unit turned out to be true:

“50 Cent revealed today that the Tennessee rapper was no longer in G-Unit the group, but would still record for the label.

‘You can look at it and see that’s Game [former G-Unit rapper] all the way. I was giving him a chance, giving him the benefit of the doubt [to remain with the group]. You can take this as an official notice right here – pretty much you can say: Young Buck is no longer in the group G-Unit, but signed to G-Unit [Records] as a solo artist’, 50 Cent told DJ Envy, a co-host on the Hot 97 Morning Show with Miss Jones.” {Source}
Maybe he'll actually have a chance of success on his own...just a thought.

G-Unit Cover XXL Rap collective G-Unit show their 'solidarity' on the cover for the latest issue of XXL Magazine. I'm not really buying into this 'united front' facade; 50 and Young Buck's (not so) subliminal jibes at each other for the better part of a year suggests all is not well.

What do you think of the cover?

Word has it 50 Cent's G-Unit clothing line has gone under:
According to inside sources, G-Unit Clothing is shutting down, with its last business day this Friday.

The brand was a joint venture with 50 Cent, who entered into a (what else?) 50/50 partnership with Ecko.

Senior marketing department staff were recently let go, as was the brand’s design team. {Source}

With rumors of in-fighting among G-Unit, as well as waning relevancy in today's chart, things aren't looking too good for 50. Still, having lined his pockets up nicely over the years, I doubt he's too fussed....Scratch that; 50's ego definitely has taken a knock with this one. Oh well.

Reports from HOT 107.9’s Birthday Bash XXII - which took place in Atlanta over the weekend -are claiming that Young Buck launched a profanity-filled attack on G-Unit leader 50 Cent. The tirade allegedly took place during Buck's set and signals his departure from the Hip-Hop collective. However Hot 97's Miss Info denies anything went down; 'Eyewitnesses say that he talked about his new label Cashville Records, which he recently found a home for, but he never dissed 50 and G-Unit' she said.

This really doesn't surprise me. It's obvious being with the G-Unit is doing nothing for anyone else's career apart from 50's. What's more is that 50 has become increasingly vocal about his views of his fellow G-Unit members; in this month's issue of VIBE magazine he even labelled Lloyd Banks 'lazy'. With 50's career showing signs of fatigue, Buck would be smart to get out of there quick.

Some of you may have already heard the rumours about Olivia being kicked out of the G Unit; and supposedly suing them for sexual harassment. Well, 50 Cent has shed some light on the situation. During an interview this week on New York radio station, Hot 97, 50 confirmed that Olivia is no longer with G Unit. The G Unit leader rubbished rumours of sexual harassment and stated that her departure was due to 'creative differences' over her never released album (yeah right).

I'm waiting to hear Olivia's side of the story because everything about 50 Cent/G Unit is BOGUS. Ain't but one of them had any success...that one being 50 Cent himself. It's kinda bad for her; one flop album (pre-G Unit) and now this. Though she was pretty much the standard R&B chick, I wanted to see what they were gonna do with her. Looks like it's over for her.
