The video for John Legend's brand new single, the Andre 3000 assisted 'Green Light', premiered on Yahoo Music today. With the song having been in heavy rotation on UK radio as of of late, this one has really grown on me. The accompanying clip, though pretty unspectacular, does the song justice and serves as one of John's best visual offerings.
Legend's third studio album 'Evolver' is set to hit stores on October 28th.

With John Legend hard away at work on his third studio album, a new cut from the R&B crooner has surfaced. Said to be the the LP's first single, the Andre 3000 assisted 'Greenlight' sees John embrace a radically different sound to what we're used to hearing from him; the record is very EuroPop/Dance sounding. UK songstress Estelle appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show this past Monday. Joined by John Legend, she performed 'Come Over' as well as her smash 'American Boy'. I really enjoyed their showing.
Estelle's sophomore LP 'Shine' is out now both here in the UK and in the US.

Yawn. Sorry, but nothing John Legend has put out from his sleep-inducing sophomore album 'Once Again' has managed to keep my attention long enough. Case example, this his latest video for new single 'Show Me'. I must say that the vid, which was filmed in Tanzania back in October, is kinda different - yet it's still a bore to me.

To be honest I was kinda surprised to see that John is still cranking out singles from his sophomore album 'Once Again' ; I thought it was done with. Like the entire album, I'm not really feeling 'Another Again' and it's accompanying video - finding it be pretty much a snooze fest. Whereas John's debut LP was one of my favourites from 2005, the follow-up was a collection of songs that could easily pass for elevator music. Here's hoping he delivers with his future efforts.

It's been a while since Outkast have been in the limelight, so their appearance on this UGK track is welcomed. I'm really liking the song and video; the vid follows the concept of track closely and the resulting video is hilarious. Definitely one the better videos released this year. Stars including T-Pain, Chamillionaire and Big Gipp make cameo appearances.
