Young Jeezy features in the August (All-Rap) issue of VIBE magazine. As well discussing music, his presidential vote and his family life, the rapper spoke candidly about his rumoured relationship with R&B songstress Keyshia Cole:“To be honest, it was more what she wanted. She was cool and we had a cool friendship. The media made it out to be something crazy. We kicked it. We hung out. Thing is, you can’t be cool with somebody you wanna be cool with [without the media thinking it’s a relationship]…I was grown enough to tell her, Look baby, that isn’t what it is right now.”
Ouch...

I really liking the song and felt they did a pretty good job of it live. Random tidbit: Keyshia was looking and sounding a lot better than she has in a while.

The video for The Game's latest single 'Game's Pain', featuring R&B songstress Keyshia Cole, premiered on BET today. I'm really feeling both the song and the accompanying vid too. 'Game's Pain' is the first single to be lifted from the California rapper's forthcoming album 'L.A.X'(due July 1st) via Interscope.

R&B songstress Keyshia Cole performed her current single 'Heaven Sent' on Regis and Kelly yesterday. I really enjoyed this performance. As I've said many-a-time, 'Heaven Sent' stands as my favourite Keyshia Cole track and seeing her nail it live was real satisfying. Vocally there's no denying she has stepped up remarkably compared to some of her earlier showings. Great performance.

The video for Keyshia Cole's latest single 'Heaven Sent' premiered on BET's Access Granted just a few short hours ago. I've long had the song in heavy rotation, so it's good to see that the vid does it justice. More a concept clip than anything else, the simplistic nature of the vid really compliments the song. Keyshia looks great too.

Danity Kane performed their new single 'Damaged' at Spotlight on Bad Boy RnB Night this Tuesday (January 28th). I'm really on the fence about this single and Danity Kane altoghether this time around. 'Damaged' IMO just isn't (lead) single material, and with the heat they packed on that first album, I definitely expected better. Saying that, the girls definitely are working with something and their growth, in terms of stage presence, really shows in this performance. Time will tell if the album delivers the goods. (Tidbit: Is it me or is that Shannon actually singing at the start?!).
The girls recently stopped by Miss Jones' Hot 97 radio show and had a lot to say about a certain Keyshia Cole. I won't spoil it, but I'm sure this one is sure to raise a few eyebrows. Check it out:

During an interview with our friends over at SOHH, R&B songstress Keyshia Cole revealed that she is already prepping her third album for a late 2008 release:"I'm writing down ideas now, just what I feel like the album should be about. This is the first time I've actually done that so that should be fun. They want it out by Christmas."Cole's sophomore effort 'Just Like You' was recently certified Platinum, having sold approximately 1,028,200 in the US. I really see her star rising higher and higher.

R&B singer Keyshia Cole stopped by MTV's TRL, in Times Square, New York, yesterday to promote her latest single, the ballad 'I Remember'. Cole also spoke about her role in the forthcoming MTV flick 'How She Moves'. Labels: Keyshia Cole
Following the success of her most recent singles 'Let It Go' and 'Shoulda Let You Go', R&B songstress Keyshia Cole debuted the video for her latest single 'I Remember' on BET a couple of hours ago. The song is one of my personal highlight on her 'Just Like You' LP and feel the video did it justice.

Having recently signed with Atlantic Records, R&B crooner Jaheim is set to release his latest album 'The Makings of A Man' on December 18th. This new track 'I've Changed' (ft. Keyshia Cole) features on the set. I liked the song upon first listen; both Jaheim and Keyshia ride the beat with ease and great delivery. What's more the song is lyrically engaging. As reported last week, Keyshia Cole appeared on the Tyra Banks show to promote her new album 'Just Like You'. Here's the performance she gave of current single 'Shoulda Let You Go' on the show - which hit the net shortly after the first post. I've had the song in heavy rotation for a while and am glad to see Keyshia doing it justice live. As with the track, though, the random rapper (Amina) could really doesn't need to feature.

A very revealing Keyshia Cole appears on the cover of the December issue of VIBE magazine. Though the pic is overly airbrushed, she doesn't look bad - at all. Keyshia's new album 'Just Like You' is in stores now. Labels: Keyshia Cole
