Raz-B Calls Into Hot 97Controversial former B2K member Raz-B called into New York radio station Hot 97 this morning. Raz, real name DeMario Thornton, thanked everyone for 'the love' - yet opted to not directly address the allegations he made. Knowing Miss Jones (the host), she wasn't going to let him off like that lol.. Check out the interview....

Check out the pic below of Raz-B, his brother Ricky Romance together with Chris Stokes (their alleged molester) dining in Mr Chow's in Los Angeles. Click here to view the video of the trio leaving the restaurant, where Raz proclaims "We love each other, man!"

Raz-B, Chris Stokes and Ricky Romance

A hot mess if I've ever seen one. What's going on here is any one's guess, but everyone in this whole saga is looking stupid as anything; Raz and his brother have lost any credibility or sympathy I had for them - paid off or not - and well Chris is still one shady character IMO. Yuck.

Ok, so is this some bogusness or what? Following the hysteria that ensued after former B2K member Raz-B came forward alleging his cousin, the group's former manager, Chris Stokes molested him, the claim has now been taken back. In the video below, Raz-B denies there being any truth to the allegations he made just two days ago. Check it out:

The way I see it, either he's a complete idiot or there's more to it (e.g. money, threats etc). Did you notice how he doesn't look into the camera. Whatever the case, the damage seems to have been done; his claims have verified the rumors that have been swirling around since the group were still together. It'll be interesting to see where this whole saga ends up at.

*Update*

MTV.com have just posted the following update regarding the story:

The truce between Raz and Stokes doesn’t appear to have been extended to Ricardo. After MTV reported on the apology, Ricardo told MTV News that he stands by all the original allegations and is not recanting his story. He said he hasn’t spoken to his younger brother in more than a day — which he said was unusual for the siblings and predicted that Raz will “come back around,” suggesting that the apology might not have been his brother’s idea.

Somehow, I don't think this is the last we'll hear in this saga.

Revelations, revelations, revelations. This video has been doing the rounds on the blog scene for the last few days. Former B2K member Raz-B has come forward accusing his cousin and former manager Chris Stokes of molestation. Somehow Marques Houston works into the equation too. See the shocking video below:

There's more; Raz-B's brother Ricky Romance has also accused Stokes, claiming that he forced them to take showers with other boys and molested him too. Stokes is also accused of 'unfair business and personal practices' for requesting sexual favours from them. Check out the vid below:

Chris Stokes has since issued a press release denying the claims levelled against him:

“The accusations that Demario “Raz B” Thorton and Ricardo Thorton have made are vehemently false and hold no merit. I have recently stopped financially supporting both individuals along with assisting them with their criminal and legal matters which leads me to believe they are resentful and looking to benefit financially from this. My family is my first priority and the reason why I have been so supportive of them. In bringing these false claims, they have not only slandered me, they have also put me in a position to ensure that the truth is known and I will take all legal routes to protect myself, my family and my four children," said Chris Stokes, CEO of The Ultimate Group.

"It’s also quite ironic that these statements were made only 2 weeks after they were denied admittance by a venue for an event I hosted in Beverly Hills," added Stokes.

Only those involved can know what truthfully went down; still I always knew something BOGUS was up with Chris Stokes etc.

Any thoughts?

It appears the guys formerly of B2K (sans Omarion) are serious about putting out a reality show. Check out another teaser clip of the show below, in which Omarion, former manager Chris Stokes and the 'B2K' name rights are discussed:

This actually seems like it'll be a good watch. Aside from the obvious strained relations with Omarion, it'll be interesting to see how they plan on making a comeback.

It appears yet another defunct group are jumping on the reality show bandwagon in hopes of resurrecting their careers - this time it's B2K. Before I continue, I'm literally cracking up right now at the 'realty show' spelling - very professional lol. About the trailer, it was pretty interesting to see the guys back together, as well as the hinting at there still being unresolved issues with Omarion. Saying that, this kinda screams desperation to me; none of the group, aside from Omarion, have achieved any solo success. Hmmm...

Would you be checking for a B2K reunion?

Former B2K member Raz B has finally addressed the persistent rumors surrounding his sexuality. Speaking out via MySpace, the singer denied being gay, however I'm thinking the way he went about it had the opposite effect. Here's what he had to say...(it's long):
Let me put something out on the table right now. Here is my official response to all these gay rumors going around about myself.

1. Yes I heard the radio interview Fizz did.

2. No I am not upset with him and we do not have beef.

Now, a lot of people seem to believe I am gay. Well I am here to say IT'S NOT TRUE. I have expressed that many many times and frankly if some people can not understand that and still want to be ignorant about the subject matter then so be it. As I said before in a magazine interview and excuse my language, but I love pussy..I love the female body and I just have love for women in general.

I have nothing against the gay community, yes I support them. Why discriminate against someone due to their sexual orientation? I'm not close minded and I'm not stuck in a primitive decade. They have feelings to because they are human just like a hetrosexual male or female. Who is anyone to judge just because others discriminate against it? In a way that's no different than being a racist. I said in a way..I didn't say it was exactly the same, so don't send me messages saying "it's not the same thing" if u disagree.I have love for everyone even if they do hate my guts.

The Bible says "Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. (Matthew 5:38-44) " In my case it's all love and I do my best to look the other way.

Aside from that, people feel that I am gay because I have performed at the gay pride festival a couple of years ago. Well ya know what, that community is an audience like any other people. Why deprive them of a performance because of their sexual orientation? I am not the only musician who has performed for that group of people. Musicians who are on a bigger status have performed there, so why pinpoint me out and make me out to be the black sheep? Lets also get another thing straight, I never performed at a gay club. I made an APPEARANCE at one club, which means I signed autographs. Again, I'm not going to not fullfill my commitment to a group of people who were willing to come out to visit with me just because of their sexual perference.

Also just because I did the whole mohawk thing, doesn't mean anything either. I was trying a different look and it certainly grab attention, which was my intention, but who knew it would grab so much negativity. And last but certainly not least, JUST BECAUSE I DID NOAH'S ARC DOES NOT MAKE ME GAY. I did it for the purpose behind the meaning of that particular episode which touched on HIV. Nothing more, nothing less other than receiving a pay check for it.

Do you know how many straight male actors have played gay roles? The Rock, Will Smith, The male actors on Will and Grace, Taye Diggs, Robin Williams, Russell Crowe, Al Pacino, Bruce Willis, Marlon Brando, Forest Whitaker, Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal. The list goes on, so therefore if they can act in such roles and continue on in life without the world wondering about their sexuality, then why can't I? If I didn't feel comfortable with the role then I wouldn't have taken it. It's called acting, that doesn't mean I live that lifestyle.

So please hear me and understand me, I am in no way shape or form a gay male. I have nothing against that community. But I would appreciate it if people would stop with the false accusations. If you just asked me the question in recent times, this is not against you, I'm pointing this out for other purposes.Indeed I do realize majority of the public could careless in what I say and believe what they want, but overall it doesn't matter because myself, my family and my friends know the real me. If you seem to have an issue with what I stated, then I don't know what to tell you, but God Bless.
Hmmm...

What do you think of Raz B's denial?

In a recent interview with Chicago's Power 92 radio station, former B2K star Lil Fizz spoke on life after the group and his forthcoming solo project. During the interview, Fizz was asked flat out whether former band member Raz B was gay. Evidently taken aback by the bluntness of the question, Fizz replied 'I don't think it's my place to answer that question'. Click here to listen to the audio

I doubt this will come as a surprise to many. With reported sightings of Raz at numerous 'guy' clubs and an appearance on 'Noah's Arc' (a black gay drama), rumors about his sexuality have been circulating for months. Though I doubt Fizz did it deliberately (the B2K guys are apparently cool with each other now), it's kind of ironic that the confirmation(ish) came from him.

Some of you may remember Raz-B as the member who never sang in teen R&B group B2K. I'm pretty sure the only B2K track I ever heard him on was 'Girlfriend' and even that was a measly two lines. Like many, I just assumed that he couldn't sing and was simply there to make up the number. However, his new solo track 'Fire' has proven me wrong. The mid-tempo track, which debuted at #89 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop chart, is actually decent and proves that the guy CAN sing. Raz-B's voice sounds alot like Marques Houston; it kinda makes me wonder why we never heard him sing before. Check it out...
