With Trina set to release her new album 'Still Da Baddest' on April 1st, the video for the set's second single 'I Got A Thang For You' made its debut today. Featuring Keyshia Cole, the video is pretty good and does the equally as good song justice. I've been feeling a lot of Trina's new material and will definitely be checking for the album.

While, the Diamond Princess Trina is prepping the release of her 'Still Da Baddest' LP (due April), new music from the set has surfaced in the form of 'I Gotta Thang For You' . I'm liking this mid-tempo cut; it's a little run-of-the-mill, but still pretty decent. {Yes, our interview with Trina will be up soon)

Trina's video for 'Single Again', the first release to be lifted from her forthcoming album 'Still Da Baddest', premiered yesterday on Yahoo Music. The song has grown on me considerably since first hearing it and the Billie Woodruff directed video makes me like it even more. Granted the vid isn't without it's flaws (the pool scene..hmmm..no), this is probably Trina's best video to date. 'Still Da Baddest' is set to drop in April via Slip-N-Slide/EMI.

Rapper Trina shot the video for her new single 'Single Again' this past Friday at a mansion Coconut Grove, Florida . Expect the vid to consist of various scenes; including a wedding, pool and club. It appears there's truth to the stories of Trina's new deal with EMI (in partnership with Slip-N-Slide) being worth a lot of money; the vid (and it's budget) looks to be Trina's best yet. 'Single Again' will be the first single to be lifted from Trina's forthcoming album 'Still Da Baddest' - due February 12th 2008.

Rapper Trina appears in the latest issue of Ocean Drive magazine. Seems like photographer Billy Coleman went crazy with Photoshop in post-production; I know Trina has dropped a few pounds as of late, but come on now! Click here to read see more pics / read the full article.

In other news, February 12th 2008 has been set as the release date for Trina's new album 'Still The Baddest' (IMO a much better title than it's previous name: 'Baddest Bitch 2'). The CD will drop via Slip-N-Slide/EMI and will be lead by the single 'Single Again'.

Rapper Trina is sporting a new look in preparation for the release her new album 'Da Baddest B*tch 2' (due August). It seems she's been paying close attention to Rihanna's recent image overhaul, as the self-proclaimed 'Baddest B*tch' looks eerily like the 'Umbrella' singer. Still, it suits her well - it's a major improvement over the blonde Tranny look she was rocking the last time she was out.

After a brief hiatus, Trina is prepping the release of the follow-up to her 2005 album 'Glamorest Life'. Set to hit stores in August, the rapper's latest offering has been titled 'Baddest B*tch II'. Speaking on the new album - the sequel to her 2000 debut 'Da Baddest B*tch - Trina told Billboard 'I put 150 percent into this album. I'm stepping my game up like 10 notches..I have a thousand different emotions and feelings and I show it all in this project. I didn't want to be sad, just happy and high spirited, so people can see Trina really grew up'. Producers on the CD are set to include Scott Storch, Cool and Dre, and Red Spyder. 'Baddest B*tch II' will drop August 14th via Slip-N-Slide/EMI.

Considering the fact that I really enjoyed Trina's last CD, I'll be checking for this one. I'm hoping she doesn't exploit her relationship with Lil' Wayne, as I didn't care much when they were together and still don't now. It seems that's the route she's going down - the scheduled first single is called 'I'm Single Again'....

Mariah & Bone Thugs Set To Film New Video

Fresh from the success of their single 'I Tried'- which peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100- Bone Thugs N' Harmony are set to film the video for their next single 'Lil L.O.V.E' along with Mariah Carey. The shooting is to take place in New York City on June 4th & 5th.

I'm pleased they decided to go with 'Lil L.O.V.E' as the 2nd single from their 'Stength & Loyalty' album. The track is hot and real radio-friendly too. I'm anxious to see Mariah in the video, as it's been some time since the multi-octave beauty has been in the limelight.
