I've always admired the fact that Will is versatile with his craft...a true actor. The movie's concept, granted a little hard to grasp, seems like it may be worth a look-see. What you think?

Will Smith has been named the highest earner in Hollywood by Forbes magazine:

Will Smith's $80 million (£40 million) salary from the past year has made him Hollywood's top earner.

In Forbes's Highest Paid Actors list, the star came in first place with Pirates Of The Caribbean's Johnny Depp landing in second with $72 million.

This year, Smith also broke a box office record after Hancock became his eighth consecutive film to cross the $100 million mark in the US. {Source}

It's especially great to see Will achieve such a feat as a black actor. It goes to show the doors opened by the Sidney Poitier's and Denzel Washington's before him were not done so in vain.

'Wholesome' Hollywood couple, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, have revealed that the secret to the success of their 11 year marriage is that they have an 'open relationship'. Speaking to Reveal magazine, Will had the following to say:

"Our perspective is, you don't avoid what's natural and you're going to be attracted to people." he says.

"And if it came down to it, then one would say to the other: 'Look, I need to have sex with somebody. Now, I'm not going to if you don't approve of it'."

The 39-year-old star explains that the couple's open policy has been in place from day one of their 10-year marriage.

"In our marriage vows, we didn't say 'forsaking all others'. We said 'you will never hear I did something afterwards'. Because if that happens the relationship is destroyed."

Other things that Will says are important in his relationship are keeping in shape for his "little firecracker" Jada, the "look in her eyes", and communication.

Though there has long been murmurings about Will and Jada's marriage, this is the first time either has spoken on this particular issue. Personally, I'm not sure I really agree with their choices, I guess it depends on the individual, though. So saying that...

Will Smith's much-anticipated new superhero flick 'Hancock' was simultaneously released in both US and UK yesterday. Though generally receiving a 'so-so' response from most critics, the film is poised to deliver Smith's highest grossing debut to date, with early projections touting somewhere in the region of $80 Million being grossed in its first weekend.

The 2008 MTV Movie Awards went ahead as planned yesterday night, despite a fire that destroyed parts of Universal Studios in Hollywood, California (where the show took place). A host of stars made appearances at the show including Jennifer Hudson, Will Smith & son Jaden, T.I., Megan Good, Chris Brown and girlfriend Rihanna.

It's great to see the same Will Smith that we all know and love from 'The Fresh Prince' doing big things in Hollywood these days. Judging by this trailer, the 39 year old actor's latest effort, superhero flick 'Hancock', looks to be winner. The action-packed movie is set to hit theatres on July 1st.

Will Smith's latest film, post-apocalyptic thriller 'I Am Legend', has grossed a whopping $76 million at the US box-office during it's opening weekend. Exceeding initial estimates of $25 million, the film's huge debut has earned its place as the highest December opening of all time. {Source}

Actor Will Smith appears on the cover of the December issue of Men's Vogue magazine. With Barack Obama, Tiger Woods and Denzel Washington all having appeared on the cover of the mag this year, it reinforces a positive shift with the Vogue institution as a whole - which has seen very few black stars grace its cover through the years.
