After scoring killer ratings with ‘Envy’ and ‘Lust,’ the first two installments of Lifetime’s T.D. Jakes-produced films from the ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ franchise, the women’s network is looking to repeat the feat by unveiling first looks at the movies’ follow-ups:  ‘Wrath’ and ‘Greed.’

Based on the book series authored by Victoria Christopher Murray, ‘Wrath’ follows a single lawyer (portrayed by Williams) trying to navigate a chaotic love affair with another lawyer (portrayed by Antonio Cupo) who is so jealous and wrathful that his obsession with her leads to violence and threats.  Tina Knowles-Lawson plays Williams’ mother in the film.

Lifetime delivered a ratings double knockout thanks to TD Jakes Enterprises, which acted as the producer for two movies for the women’s network:  ‘Lust’ (starring Keri Hilson) and ‘Envy’ (starring Serayah).

Both productions served as film adaptations of Victoria Christopher Murray books of the same names and launched back-to-back weekend premieres as part of the channel’s ‘Seven Deadly Sins Story’ franchise.

First boasting a ratings win with the critically acclaimed ‘Lust’ (April 10), ‘Envy’ – which also starred GRAMMY winning singer-songwriter Kandi Burruss, Da Brat, DC Young Fly, Donovan Christie Jr., Gregory Alan Williams, Clifton Powell and ‘The Game’ star Hosea Chanchez – followed with even higher viewership!

Acting continues to agree with multi-hyphenate diva Keri Hilson.

The GRAMMY-nominated singer-songwriter may be best known for topping music charts with tunes like ‘Pretty Girl Rock,’ ‘Turnin Me On,’ ‘Knock You Down,’ and more (as well as writing hits for the likes of Britney Spears, Mary J. Blige, and others).  But – as evidenced by her appearances in a string of successful feature films on the big and small screen since the early 2010’s – her talents aren’t limited to the studio and stage.

No further evidence is needed than her latest movie venture, ‘Lust.’

It’s been over 10 years since Keri Hilson first nabbed headlines for perceived Beyoncé disses (i.e. on red carpet interviews, the remix of her 2009 hit, ‘Turnin Me On,’ etc.), but now the GRAMMY nominee says the beef is old news and the two have moved on.

Hot on the promo trail for her recently unveiled, critically acclaimed made-for-TV film, ‘Lust’ (click here to see the trailer), the 38-year-old was quizzed about the current status of her relationship with the Queen Bey.

To the surprise of listeners, Hilson glowed when discussing the diva – and even suggested she’d be open to sharing the stage with her one day.
